i have set up a small office network using a cisco router 1841

can anyone knows if there is a command to show me all the ip addresses of all pc's that are inside the network?

Hi ipothos

Is your router a DHCP server?

If not then no I don`t think there is

It depends on your routing setup and whether the devices are actually sending any traffic. If all the PC's are on the same VLAN and the 1841 is the default gateway for them then looking at the ARP table on the 1841 should show you all devices that it has seen sending data through it.
If you have a routed network then you would need to repeat the same thing on each of the routers that are acting as default gateways.
There are Network Management tools that will automate tasks like this and perform 'User Tracking', you could probably knock up a script as well pretty easily.
A centralised DHCP Server(s) will also give you similar information.

thanx for your help...

the "sh arp" command helped me a lot....

But perhaps the most simple solution might be to run a "Lan Scanner" application on a PC? Search the web for this and you'll find some useful pieces of freeware, some of which offer useful info in addition to just the IP addresses. Hope it helps.
