Was the config saved with "write memory" or "copy running starup"? You can check the startup config with the command "show config" instead of "show run".
If the crypto commands are there, then just do a "copy startup running", or if you've made other changes, just copy and paste the commands back into the running config.
If it's not there, do you backup your configs to tftp?
How were these commands erased? The only ways I can think of are
1)They were input but the config was not saved, and the router was power-cycled, or
2)The "no" form of the commands were input, and AFTER this, write mem or copy run start was then issued...
If the "no" form of the commands were issued, but "copy run start" was never input, then you can power cycle the router, and the config that was last saved (with copy run start or write mem) will load. However if you did a "sh conf" or "sh start", and the config lines you mention for the VPN CA server settings were not there, then that means that unless you saved the configs before someone went in and changed them, there is no way to recover them. Are you having issues with the VPN authentication failing or something?
Sounds to me like the startup config was overwritten, so the only way to find the exact config commands would be if there was a backup to tftp or some documentation. I haven't messed with pki a lot, but I imagine it's pretty particular depending on your setup.
im supposed to have two spare 1841s here but i can't find them..
ill get them tracked down and then post the default config that cisco shipped them with.
