I have problem with Cisco 1721 & 2610 while trying to make PPP connection between them over PSTN network. Although the system works properly AUX-to-AUX configurations, it doesn't work WIC2A/S-to-AUX. We use WIC2A/S port at 2610 side and AUX port at 1721 side. The PPP session hangs out at LCP.
Has anyone encountered this problem ?
Thnaks in advance

Seems to be failing at the CHAP authentication stage, have you tried debug ppp chap auth?

Hi,
The debug outputs listed above is "debug ppp negotiation"
I ve tried "debug ppp chap auth" but before that phase the connection is dropped. The problem seems it cannot open LCP session properly. While waiting SYN from otherside the ppp session timeouts. We are broken at first leg !
Has anybody seen that problem while triying to make connection over PSTN with PPP ?
Thx
