Hi to all,
I have correctly configured a VPN between one Cisco 1701(Remote Office) and one Astaro Firewall (Local Office) using one ADSL 1280/256.
When PC behind the 1701 browse the Internet, download e-mail or generically receive data from my local servers, all works perfectly.
The problem begin when the client send messages with attachments (time out from the mail server after 5 minutes - the small text messages are instead sent correctly), or when from computer behind the firewall I use remote control programs like VNC or similar (the program hangs after few seconds).
The 1701 is equipped of a second backup ISDN line and when I use it all works fine.
I also have tried to use a different ruouter (one Cisco 837) and also in this case all works fine.
I have read that it could be a MTU problem and therefore I have tried to insert [ IP tcp adjust-mss 1440 ] on the FastEthernet0 interface without no improvement.
Are there someone that can address me towards the solution?
Thanks in advance.
