Cisco 1600 Series Password

Hi im trying to get into a 1600 series router that was passed down to me by pops. I need to get passed the read only password. I am using hyperterminal and i heard ctr + t works but i havn't had any luck. anyone know how to bypass the read only password? I know the super secret password. Thanks, PAUL

I recommend starting over, i.e. configuring a new user-mode password(enable password xxxx) , and priveleged mode password (enable secret xxxx). Use the following link to see how to do this for your router:
