I am working on an old 824/DR5 ksu. my customer wants CID. I know I can't put CID on the first 8 lines, but I thought I could install a couple of CID cards in a 12X0 module and just program those lines in place of the first 8. It doesn't appear that the programming is available for CID. There are a couple of things about call logs and name first, but that is all I see. I don't see a way to make the sets have CID. I think I may have mis-led my customer inadvertently. What say you gurus out there?

You can have cid on the 1st 8 lines of an 8X24 KSU if you use an M8 module. The programming is under GEN ADMIN / Call Services.

It will be cheaper to get a couple CI cards if you have a 12x0 in place, those M8's are pretty expensive. You will just get auto caller id info on one set, the rest can use f 811 or just answer then see clid.
