CiCS Region Setup for use with

Hi! I am new to this thread, and I hope someone can help.
I just started a new job, and I was asked this question:

what are the typical challenges in defining and managing an IT environment where
mutliple CICS instances exist some of which are single-byte and others
that are double-byte?

I am not sure of this answer...any clues?

Thanks for replying. I am losing the data. Later on I realized that I am not setting up the tsq item number correctly
