Hi,

We are installing a MoH for a customer, however, when we go into system programming the feature tree isn't available... we cannot locate where to enable the BGM or MoH.... The software is Rls 1.0 - we have never come across this problem before - has anyone else?

for a 1.0 software check out
4. call handeling: On hold:music
and
5. Miscellaneous: Background music: Y

Check the FAQ's for wiring location.

Thanks Jerry we will give that a try...

you may also need to install a resistor in series with the MOH source to match the impedence. The symptom that indicates a need for this is when the music volume oscillates up and down.

I think 1.0 is still Terminals&Sets, etc...not A.Config, etc... Correct me if I'm wrong.

Should be under Sys Programming/Feature settings.

3x8, 6x16, 8x24 and all MICS lower than MICS 2.0 start with A. Config.

All CICS versions, and MICS 2.0 and higher start with Terminals&Sets.

Just an FYI...

Thanks, DBrewsky. We don't have many out there with sw that old out there. A couple MICS r1t1, but that's about it.
