chopping end titles off avi's

is there an easy way to do this?

all i want to do is chop the ends off some of my avi's so that they fit on a cd.

can i do this without exporting a whole new avi file?

Not with Premiere (not that I know of anyway). For what you want to do you can use something like VirtualDub:
File->Open video file...
Video->Direct Stream Copy
Video->Select Range...
File->Save As...
