Hello, I'm very new to video editing and have been trying to find the right format to download the footage from my camera. I have around 3 1/2 of footage and would like it to fit around 3 CD's. Can someone please tell me exactly what to do achieve this but still have very good quality picture. Adobe Premiere is very confusing.

Thanks

1. go over to amazon.com and pick up a book called Classroom in a Book: Adobe Premiere 6.5 to leanr how ot use Adobe premiere. UNtil you learn the basics, the rest will come easy. What we say here, will not make any sense until you have a grasp of the basics.

2. 3 1/2 hours of footage? You haven't sstated what kind of camera you have, so we dont know how you are going to transfer footage from camera to computer.
