I'm trying to figure out the routing slip feature of Word. I understand the basic concept, and can get things to work as long as everyone on the list shares the same address book (in my case, the "Global Address Book"). However, I can't figure out how to use recipients that do not appear in this global list. I can select people from my "Contacts" folder of personal contacts just fine, but when the previous recipient tries to route to such an address, he receives an error because this contact does not appear in any of his address books (at least, not under the exact same name). I can't find out how to specify, instead of a name, a plain e-mail address ("soso@this.biz"), which would be universally applicable no matter which address lists recipients use. What am I missing?

Sure,
I'm using Word2000. What I'm up against isn't so much an error message, as an alert - "can't find <recipient> in address book" or something like that, followed by a screen that allows the user to choose another recipient, or add a contact. The problem appears to be that the routing slip contains the "known as" name rather than the raw e-mail address.
