Chilisoft ASP

Hi,

Has anyone any experience with Chilisoft ASP? - more specifically how you would replace SMTPsvg.Mailer or CDONTS.Newmessage for collecting form information and sending it to an e-mail address??

Any ideas?

there's been a bit of chilisoft discussion on this forum, try using the keyword search, some answers might be there for you, if all else fails, might help you form some other questions

I've pretty much found the answer:

for any one who needs to know:

SMTPsvg.mailer is not supported under Chilisoft ASP however CDONTS.Newmail and CDONTS.Session should be supported but just as would be needed under IIS, they require enabling and /or installing on the server.

the component is called Chili!Mail and more information on how to enable it or its syntax can be found at:

p.s. not bad for a complete ASP novice!
