Child Domain

Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my new Active Directory tree. Whether to make it a Child of the exisitng Domain or to just make it it's own domain. Can anyone recommend a white paper or maybe give me the advantages of child domain vs being a root of a new domain tree.
