chgpf RECOMPILE???

Quick question....
I want to change the file wait time on a file from immed to something.....in other words if two users are using the same program and hit enter to update a file one user would puke because of the immediate setting on the wait (file and record)because the first person was updating.

if i change that file attribute, do i need to recompile all the programs using this file>

I don't think u need to recompile, if u r using a CHGPF command.
