Can anyone help?

The clock frequency in my PC is getting changed to 100MHz whenever I switch off the PC. Everytime I need to change back to 133MHz(the actual value) at the system startup. While booting up it displays "The recommended clock is 133MHz" and "CHECKSUM ERROR". I need to change it, only then my webcam works.

I even resetted the BIOS, but to no avail.
Any remedies/suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Well it sounds like your onboard battery is going flat so your motherboard is unable to hold onto it's bios settings.
Lithium type CR2032, they cost around £2 ($2-$3)replace and reset bios.
I are certain motherboards that do have known bios retention probloms, some PC chips and even early Nforce2 mainboards had a habbit of loosing settings, these faults were generally cured with the latest bios flash.
