I have seen bits and pieces of information in this forum, but would like to get more help. We do not have any site to site tunnels between our 2 office locations (works on a point to point) and it just so happens that we are expanding to a 3rd location. To be more cost effective, I recommended VPN solution to connect all 3 locations. Our consultant is recommending a checkpoint firewall at each location and then VPN tunnels connecting all 3. I want to compare that with other hardware based solutions and after reading I a little bit I see SonicWall, Cisco PIX and NetScreen come up periodically. Also someone recommended me SHIVA. Can the gurus out there suggest something, sort of a pros and cons of checkpoint versus hardware based solution?? Help much appreciated. Thanks.
