Plese how do I failover a checkpoint HA.?

Thanks

You have a number of options, if you are running Nokia then it comings built in with HA - you use VRRP. You can also buy Checkpoints Cluster XL which does clustering or I believe there is a Windows cluster solution called RainConnect by Rainfinity...

No, we already have a Checkpoint HA. And ch1 is active and ch2 is standby. I want to be able to failover from ch1 to ch2. How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

1) Bring up the SmartView Status client.
2) Expand the clust object by clicking on the plus sign.
3) Right click on the active cluster member, which in your case should be ch1.
4) From the resulting context menu click on "Stop Member"
5) The cluster will fail over to the standby member.

PS: Don't forget to restart the member you just stopped or it won't fail back over if there is a problem later.
