Hi All,

Are there any available scripts that can check which backups schedules that have NOT been run? There was one incident where a backup did not run and it was not noticed by anybody until it was too late ... i.e. when a restoration was called for =(

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Not easy. I run a command bpschereq -predict [time]

This is then imported into an Oracle database. Daily I have our backup status imported into the Oracle database as well. This is where our DBA's helped - They wrote a SQL statement to combine the two together so that schedules that ran are compared to those that should of run and discrepencies are highlighted.
