how can i check the content of a field according to the field number on a record especially different from zero or not
thanks

There´s some natural function that manipulate fields.
Look in NG for
fieldput()
fieldget()
fieldpos()
fieldname()
Ex:
if ( fieldget( nI ) = 0 )
// do something
endif
