Someone doing something recently slowed our network (3.12 server)down to a crawl for about 3-4 minutes, just enough to do some damage to other programs that were doing something at that same time. How could I see what was happening or what had happened? TIA for any help.

If you were running the console log - (load conlog.nlm) you should have a record of it in sys:etc. If not, and you had auditing on, you may, but it's a long shot, get some info. Otherwise, you can only load conlog and next time it happens, maybe you'll see it. Did you notice anything unusual in monitor?
