Check Box Question 1

I want to put unbound check boxes on a report that will only show a check if a certain field equals "something"..How do you turn of and on the check boxes??

set their "VALUE" = true or False

Me!check1.value = True ' this is ON

Me!check1.value = False ' this is OFF

One last question about this...

It's acting funny on the report..If where should I place the code on open, activate or page?..

if there are multi pages in design view when switching between pages it will turn on and off the check boxes fine...but when I save the report and open it in normal view it's like it wont capture the code and turn on and off the check boxes...
