check box control in word doc!!!

Hi

how can i make a usable (which people could check and uncheck) checkbox control in word doc.

I tried an active X control but can protect it.
do i have to code for that?

Right click any toolbar and select the forms options. There is a checkbox there, insert where you want and then Tools, Protect Document and check the For Forms option.

You will then have a usable checkbox Neil Berryman
