Charting Data

I have some data that I would like to chart. The data are contained in running total fields and only appear in the report footer. The running total fields are not group dependant and I don't want to chart for each record of the report. The running total fields are glorified summary fields I guess, but I find them more reliable than traditional summaries.

The problem I am running into is this: When using the advanced chart table, I am forced to specify wether the chart is run "On change of record X" / "For Each Record" / or "For All Records". None of which apply to what I'm trying to do.

Is there a way to chart this way?

butkus,
Did you ever find a way to chart these values? I have a similar situation, 12 monthly totals that I'd just like to graph with no grouping. Bar 1 is month 1, bar 2 is month 2, etc. I don't see how to do this simple chart.

Thanks.
