Hi,

Using CR10, I've inserted a chart into a report. - Because the report is portrait-orientation and the chart is quite long and thin (i.e., short x axis, long y axis) I have a large amount of white space at the top of the chart. Is there any way to get rid of this? Have looked through all the report options I can find but can't see an option to suppress this.

I should mention that I do have the 'Underlay following sections' option selected in the section expert for the section above the chart, but this doesn't seem to work for chart objects - the text disappears behind the white space of the chart.

Thanks in advance, Gavin

I think you should experiment a little. You can select various parts (like the grid, title, etc.) within a chart and move them around, so you should be able to eliminate the extra white space by doing this.

Also make sure in design view that you have the chart nestled up against the top part of the section.

Thanks LB - You were absolutely right, its as simple as dragging the chart itself to the top of the white space that contains it. Many thanks, Gavin
