Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is an Outlook or Exchange problem. I need to be able to send to an address that looks like this:
89879098.f=sms@company.com

Its a service that will forward your email as as SMS message to your mobile. Unfortunatly Exchange or Outlook truncates the address after the = character so the display name is shown as: 89879098.f=
and the smtp address is: sms@company.com
so it won't work.

Any ideas how to make this work? What have I done wrong?

Cheers Simon

I believe the "=" sign is an illegal character, (but I could be wrong) so I'm not sure you'll be able to use it outside of your exchange organization. Can you change the SMTP name?
