Can someone state limit of channel-groups (from VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1) per router (i.e. 2811) ? I have 2 controllers with total of 4 E1 lines, but it sounds that I can ONLY have 4 channel-groups of any combination in a time per router.

where have you got this information? the only thing i can see from cisco so far is this:

The Cisco MFT VWIC2 cards also support a channelized capability where the T1 or E1 service can be flexibly split into two or more fractional channel groups. Thus a single physical port can provide connection to multiple sites. (Note: If this mode is chosen, only a single port can be supported in each WIC slot.)

When ever I try to create 5-th channel group (in any combination) I got:
%Channel-groups per port limit exceeded
%Insufficient resources to create channel group

Any idea?

hmm how much more would it cost you to go to a single Ds3 connection rather then the 4 E1s?

OK, but I want clear statement about limit of channel-groups ...
