Need to change some usernames and was wondering how it affected exchange. After changing the username and i changed the alias in the Exchange Tab. Do the emails from the previous account change to the new name (ie. user1@company.com to user2@company.com) or do we need to add the new emails? I know you're not supposed to add manually due to RUS.

Thanks

Actually because you will want to let the user have both addresses as valid addreses at least for a little while for transitional period, make the new address and set it as their default so that all outgoing mail will have the new address. Then you can rename the AD account however you want.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
