I am using Windows XP Professional

There may (hopefully) be a simple answer to this

Within Windows explorer the default view is 'tiles'
Can this be changed?
If you change a specific folders' files to diplay in detail view it only changes for that folder
I have thousands of folders

Any ideas?

Thanks

Damian.

Open Windows Explorer. Set the folder that opens to Details view (or whatever view you prefer). Then go to Tools > Folder Options... Click on the View tab. At the top, under Folder Views click the Apply to All Folders button. That should do it.
