Changing the phone type from 2008 to 2616 1

Hi All,
I want to change the telephone type from 2008 to 2616.
Do we have to use the LD 11 command or LD 20.
Actually I tried both but it does not seem to work.
Can someone help me?

type can not change, you have to out the set and put it back in..
