Changing the language of my MS XP pro 2

hi guys! here's my Question, I have a a Compaq laptop came from the other country and the OS is Microsoft XP pro the problem is that the language,words and letter are not english , i think its a swedish alphabet or language.The laptop package it self does not have any driver, Is it possible to change it to english w/out reinstalling anything? if yes how?

In control panel regional and language options....
Change the regional options to whereever you are,Languages details-change to whereever you are...change the advanced tab to whereever you are....
This may not work as I havent had this problem before and you may need a copy of XP pro to copy the files from...again I amnt too sure.

You'll definitely need the English version of the OS installed.
