I have a spreadsheet that I import into my db, using the data from the spreadsheet I over write the data in the corresponding table with an update query. What I want to do is if the data changes in the table to change the colour of either the data or the background of the field. I am assuming changing th colour of the data is easier.

Then later I export the data into a spreadsheet to send to the vendor and I want to be able to export the colours as well.

Can anyone help.

Thanks in advance

Without getting into a huge amount of code, I would include some sort of comparison function that would populate a field in your table that would indicate such a change. For example, have a field called 'Changed' and set it to -1 if the data hase changed and leave at 0 if it hasn't. Then you can make your color changes based on this indicator.
