Changing roaming directory location - but will not change!

Help!

I have moved several people to a new location and moved the users from the old location to the new. There is a T1 WAN link connecting them to the main system. I have a ADC at the new location and moved their profiles to this location and changed the info in their profile section for AD U&C to point to the local ADC. After running gpresult I see that they are still using their old profile location, which of course takes a long time to work. How can I force this change so the profile will load from the local ADC?
