Hello All,
I have a PIX setup, but there are a few commands that I wish removed. Can I go to the CLI do a "sh running config"
copy this config to notepad. Remove the lines of code I do not want. Perform a "erase mem". Then using the multiple command option, paste the new config from notepad back into the PIX.
If this does work will the PIX running config be wiped when I "erase mem"? Also will the PIX be reset to factory default, and I will have to set my laptop ip back to the 192.168.1.1 to reload the config from notepad?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
