Changing Monitor Resolution From 1152 * 824 to 800 * 600

Hello

I have created a web site using dreamweaver using tables and layers and the monitor should of been set to 800 * 600 and as i did not know this and created my site on a monitor with a resolution of 1152 * 824. is there a way to change this to so that it was viewable on all monitors!

I have tried the edit sizes option in dreamweaver and that had no effect!

Please, Please, Please Help Me!!!!
