What do you mean by the IP configuration? Change machines IP address? Change from manual to automatic or vice versa. You can do these as Administrator (Network & Dial-up Connections, right click on local area connection and select properties).

wolluf i want to change my machine IP Address using anyway except this way ,, cause i cant access my tcp/ip although i am an local admin. on my machine
the tcp/ip is blank i cant click on it ,,

My first inclination is that you're doing something wrong, but who knows.
Is this machine set to DHCP or static right now? The IP/mask/gateway will all be grayed out if you have checked "obtain IP address automatically", I assume you are checking "use the following address"? And the fields still remain grayed out?
Another thought, improbably, but possible... if this machine is logging into a domain, domain security policies override local. Even if the domain account you log into gives you local admin access, if you are logging in through the domain you may need domain admin access to change IP. Make sure you are logging on locally, not just to a domain account with supposed local admin access. If this is a stand-alone box, nevermind.
Rather than try to hack through this problem, you need to identify the cause and fix it. Besides, I don't think there is a way to do this in the registry.

Hey Mohamed ,,
You May search in the Register in this key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Qbik Software\WinGate\Services\SOCKS Proxy server\Bindings
Or Here :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\{xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx}\Parameters\Tcpip

Or under your Key in :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\{xxxx-xxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxxxx}\Parameters\Tcpip

Try to live in these Blade00 :)

Hah.. nice. I'll have to remember those. But.. it stores the address as a binary value. :) Making it a little tricky to alter. Certainly possible though. Remember, you're unique... just like everyone else.

You are welcome Blade00 :) Mohamed Farid

I want to know how to change my ip which logs on to forums. I know my ip changes everytime I log on to the internet but if i post at a forum with multiple names they still know it is me by an ip address. How do I chage this address? I hate being tracked all the time.

Umm... the whole point of that is to be able to track people, Tank. If you don't like it, don't post or establish a new connection every time you post. You could possibly find a web proxy server to hide *your* IP, but that may not work for posts, and besides it would still be a static address people would see.

Alternate approach -- don't be a troll.

If you have a dynamic IP Changes everytime you enter the net It will not be a problem , because you can change it if you just disconnect and re-connect again ...

The Problem if you have a static IP , Then they will always track you .. But ,, What is the problem if they track you ? I mean What can they do if they track u ?!

Anyway , You may use some proxy servers which may hide your IP ! Mohamed Farid
