I recently imported all of my Great Plains Company tables into my company's main database Genesys. That was a success but now I need to change the pathnames so they point to the Genesys database rather than the MANI database. I altered tables SY02100 and SY03600. However when I restarted GP all of the menus have duplicate buttons. Is there anything I can do to successfuly change those 2 system tables in the DYNAMICS database and not have the redundant buttons inside Great Plains?

What database is this? MS SQL?

I'm not sure I understand where the duplicates are. If the pallettes have duplicate options you can got to Setup-Company-Pallettes and Revert all the pallettes back to the original configuration. There are some techknowledges in Partner/Customersource that deal with corrupted Pallette master.

If you are in SQL, did you look in the table for duplicate entries?

Thank you stef315 I am using SQL 7.0 and I figured the problem out. All I had to do was export all of the originally installed SY* tables. Somehow that fixed the problem. Thank you anyways.

Glad it's working. I thought you probably had it working by now but responded just in case. :)
