One of the companies I support is currently using Peachtree Complete 8.0 on the office administrators laptop. It was installed as a standard install.

We've provided them with a basic peer to peer network (five total pc's and three printers), mostly used for sharing printers.

They now want to have the front desk access Peachtree for creating invoices, etc. They know this is _not_ a multiuser app.

In reading the sections on installation, the laptop needs to be changed to a networking install.

Qeustion - Can we do a reinstall on the laptop, chaning it to networking, without losing the data (billing, customers, etc)?

Thanks - Don McIntyre

You can use Peachtree on a Peer2Peer network. Just store the data files on the network and tell Peachtree where they are. Install Peachtree on each of the workstations and you can access the data files from any workstation. However, only one workstation will be able to access the files at a time. You can buy additional licenses if this is a problem.
