If you find that you often make the same set of changes to a type of control, such as text box or command button, you may want to change the default style for that control type. For example, you could change the defaults for font, border, and margin properties for the text box control type, so that all text boxes that you add to the current form or report share the new defaults. Or the command button you want a different font style or font color. The following works for any of the Toolbox controls.
1) In the Toolbox, click the tool for the type of control that you want to change. For example, if you want to change the default control style for text boxes, click the Text Box tool.
2) Display the property sheet by clicking Properties on the Form Design or Report Design toolbar.
Microsoft Access changes the title bar of the property sheet to indicate that you've opened the DEFAULT property sheet for that type of control.
3) In the property sheet, change the property settings.
Play with it.
