Changing forecolor on continuous forms

I have a database that tracks invoices, purchases, stock, employees etc. On a continuous form I need to assign a different colour to each line depending on which employee made the sale. I have tried Conditional Formatting but that only allows for up to four colours to be assigned. I need about 10-20!! Can anyone think of a way to do this without using Conditional Formatting?
