Hi,

I have gdk-16 on an ISDN setup, which has a DECT phone connected to it via a SLIB. we had a problem with our GDK a few weeks ago, and for some reason the extension number for our DECT's, Fax and PDQ have all got messed up.

Our Dect phone used to be on extension 103, but is now on extension 107. Can it be changed back to 103? If so, how?

Also we have a dedicated fax number, which used to go straight to the fax machine, but now rings all our phones in the office, how do you route the number back to the fax extension number?

Can anyone help me get these niggly things sorted out?

James

You need to check if extension 103 exist. If it exist then rename extension 103 to e.g. 115 (the higest number, taht should not be in use). Now you can rename ext. 107 to 103.

doktor,

How do you rename the extension? is it under flexible numbering plan menu? menu 9 sub menu 4?

James

Check: menu 9 sub menu 3 -flexible number plan.

Doktor,

I used menu 9 - 4
i was unable to rename the extension. It wouldn't save. I then tried deleting the current extension by pressing the button dect used to be on and pressing speed. then hold save. then the button dect used to be on and typing 107, then hold save.

Now when I get an incoming call all phones ring (as they should) but i cannot transfer a call to dect. Where did I go wrong?

How do I get a specific incoming line to divert to a specific extension. I need phone number xxxx57 to go to extension 107, and all other incoming numbers to ring all other extensions.

Many thanks for your continued help

A:
Use Menu 4-10 and use BTN 2 to set the extension number (day), BTN 4 to set the extension number (night) and BTN 6 to set the DDI number - to be called from the PSTN.

Transfer:
Use TRANS/PROG button.
