I have 2 fields. LastName and Mailto. I want the Mailto field to automatically show "Mr & Mrs" [LastName]. This much I've done but I want the LastName part of the Mailto field to be editable. (As [LastName] part of the Mr & Mrs may be different from the LastName). Of course when I try to edit the LastName part of the Mailto field I can't cause it's bound to the expression.

Any ideas? Thanks

If I followed your question correctly, I would suggest using an unbound text box, fill it with the Mr & Mrs AnyName.

After it has been edited (after update or on exit, etc) pass the resulting value to the bound control.

HTH
Larry De Laruelle
larry1de@yahoo.com
