Hello,

I was fortunate enough to receive a Crystal Report from a colleague. The fields are the same for both of our databases and I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the database name they point to. Can this be done?

Very easy, for most types of connectivity and data sources.

Select Database->Set Location and point to your data source.

The means to do this will vary depending upon the data source, but if you're using several tables, just point to the new location the first one and the system will prompt you to propagate the changes to all tables.

Save the report under a new name and you're good to go.
