Changing AST keys

Hi everyone:
I need to change the keys associated with the AST setting for my 2616 phone.

Currently I have the keys set to 00 and 09, but I need to change the 09 to 08.

When I try the following, nothing happens and the AST keys remain 00 and 09

REQ: CHG
TYPE: 2616
TN: l s c u
ECHG: YES
ITEM: AST 00 08

Any help is greatly appreciated!

in the symposium first deacquire the TN´s and after change the AST prompt.

what application are you using. Janchundia is correct. Don't change a symposium phone that is not deacquired. You should really out the ACD phone and rebuild, instead of changing the phone.

come on!!!! don't you want to have some fun!!!! Make sure that the application that is AST monioring the set has not relationship with the set. This may require you to disable the application server?? Then deacquire the TN in the SCCS. Print the set in LD 20. you should not see a bit map or any thing about acquired as TN, AST POSID, AST DN. If you don't have that, make the change. Don't do an EZ change with ACD.
