Please help! i need to change the Access application icon into other icon.I'm not talking about the icon in the >Tools>Startup! But the icon which when i install my DB into a folder. For example, i installed my DB in the folder
C:\My document\Reza, in that folder,my DB will display the Access Icon no matter what i do. But if i put the shortcut to the DEsktop, i am able to change the icon. Do you guys have any solutions???

Acctually no.Not the >Tools>startup but the one inside folders.
For example, i installed my DB in the folder
C:\My document\Reza, in that folder,my DB will display the Access Icon no matter what i do

Excuse me for not reading properly. You wrote that yourself in the first question :)

I think you have to find your solution in 'associations'. There, where the xxxx.mdb extention mdb is set to be opened by Access. I suppose that you will be able to change the icon there.
On the other hand, it might imply that all access application will change icon, which is not what you want.

A solution might be that you change the extention (make it xxx.rez) and create a new association, which is opend by Access and has your icon connected.

Hav a nice day,
Hans

What do you mean by asociation?I think its a good solution (if i know how to use it!).And if i change the extension...will it open correctly?I think i should try...and currently(while typing) i think i know what you mean!!You are one damn GENIUS man!!!Thanks a billion!!

But how do i change the extension?can you tell me??

To change the extention you kan Rename the file from xxxx.mdb to xxxx.rez

Then you create a new association for files of type rez and make them open with Msaccess. Just copy from the mdb extention

Good luck.
Hans
