I have changed an ODBC system dsn that is used by an access97 database. The name of the dsn is the same but the server and ip address have changed. I have changed the odbc setup on the client machine and tested it. It works fine and can connect directly to the database. However, I have an access97 database then when you open it it says the connection to the odbc failed. I recall that there is somewhere that I can change the odbc connection string for the database, as opposed to changing it in the queries. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Thanks

Take a look at the table links manager:
menu Tools -> AddIn -> Linked tables manager
The spelling may be different as I don't use an english version of office.

Hope This Helps, PH.
