i am trying to automate pdf printing. To do this i am using code that changes the printer to the Adobe PDF printer using the printer object in access 2002. If i use windowsXP with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional software this works fine. BUT when i use windows 98se with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard i get an error msg when trying to switch to this printer. the error msg is "There was a problem retrieving information from the printer. New Printer has not been set" any suggustions?
ps. professional wont work with windows 98se...and i need to use this os.
