Hi,

we have DHCP running on a switch and we need to change the DNS server.

Assuming that the old, and the new, server are active, and I change the Switch config to give out only the new DNS server IP address, does anyone lose connectivity at all?

I think that it has no effect until the users log-on again and then they start using the new DNS server...but I'd like some confirmation please.

Regards
Peter

i think you're correct. they won't lose connectivity.
