I cant get any of the changes I make to my asp pages to show up.

I used to be an admin for our Tomcat servers, and whenever this would happen, I would have to clear out the cached pages to get it to work again. I think this is what is happening here, but I dont know anything about IIS. Where does it store the compiled pages? Would rebooting the server(which I dont want to do) solve the problem?

Thanks,
Greg

Hi, I've seen this before. Stop IIS admin service, delete all content in the %TEMP% folders as well as C:\winnt\*.TMP

Restart iis admin service, this should do it...

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

Hi Jeff,

The only path I could find that seems relevant to the site is...

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files

Is this where it would store the compilations? I should have said this before, but its a vb.net application.

Hi, by %temp% I meant c:\temp, d:\temp. IIS uses these temp folders as well as c:\winnt\*.tmp for data access temp components (jet engine)

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

I looked for all files and folders with temp anywhere in them. I did find a bunch of tmp files called JET**.tmp, but all where 0k. I think I may just try a reboot. I'm a little afraid of going in and deleting a bunch of stuff. Thanks for your help.
