Changes not made, not using Shadow

After checkout, edit and check in of source file, changes are not being seen. We are not currently using the shadow feature.

Where can't you see the changes? In your programming editor or in sourcesafe's viewer? If you can see the changes in sourcesafe, the file gets checked in properly...

Changes are not appearing in VSS viewer. After checkin, the document does not appear to have any of the changes.

I am having the same problem with vss. But I've leaned this only occurs when I try to check in a report. The report has two seperate files with different extensions. One has an extension of .dsx and it appears to have been checked out and checked back in, but the file with extension .dsr appears to have never been checked out after it is checked back in (it still shows the date as the date it was created.

Have you received any help with this problem? If so Can you please advise me.

Unfortunately I have not received an answer to this problem. It continues to happen without any real pattern......sorry!
