Hello, we are in the middle of switching over hosting to the people who did our new website. I switched the DNS to point to their server and they updated our MX record which points to Message Labs, a company that checks our mail for virus and spam. Message Labs point their mail server to our owa.ourdomain.com. The site is up and running and we can mail internally and to the outside but we now have no incoming mail and can't access OWA. I know I am missing a step but I don't know what. Do we have to configure something in Exchange 2000 to point to the new DNS or does our Firewall have to be reconfigured to reflect the change?

Thank you.

If the owa.ourdomain.com has remained the same public IP then check on the new DNS as to whether the A record is still there. Also confirm the MX record is pointing at Message Labs and call ML to see if they are pointing at the right place for the public IP address of the Exchange Server.

Check your firewall and/or Exchange server are set to allow inbound emails from ML.

Thank you for the help. It turns out our IP addresses for our servers are tied in with our domain. Once I redirected the DNS away from our ISP, those IP addresses were cut off.
